I joined International Assets Advisory in 2018. I began my career in financial services at Safra National Bank of New York. Subsequently, I worked in the Latin America Banking area of the French bank Credit Lyonnais in New York, and at the Dutch financial services firm ING Group in Hartford, Connecticut, where I helped the company develop its wealth management business in Brazil and Mexico.
Prior to starting my career as Adviser, I was Vice President of Credit Finance for the high-net worth clients of the Private Bank of J.P. Morgan in New York. My advisory practice started at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2009 and was further developed at Merrill Lynch from 2011 to 2015.
After graduating from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) with the Bachelor of Science degree in Production Engineering, I chose to broaden my life experiences by coming to the U.S. to pursue the Master of Science degree in Finance at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
My interest in financial markets and wealth management strategies led me to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 1998. The CFA® program provided me with a broad range of practical portfolio management and advanced investment analysis skills. In addition, I graduated with the Master of Marketing degree at Tilburg University's ING Business School (the Netherlands) in 2001.
I taught Capital Markets and Wealth Management at the School of Continuing and Professionals Studies of New York University in midtown Manhattan from 2009 to 2011.
